Got Ink?

History shows that the art of tattooing has been in existence for thousands of years. However, it was only recently when the Filipino people embraced this art and started to become more welcoming of tattoo collectors and enthusiasts. While there may still be a few too many encounters with tattoo-judgmental folks, most tattooed men and women can now freely show off their ink.

At P&P tattoo, we want you to be proud of your tattoos. Our primary goal is to always provide what our clients want and need. Through the years, we’ve received all kinds of requests from first time tattoos to covering up an old ink to tattooing that last tiny bare skin area.

We are industry experts in the art of tattooing. We have close to a century of tattooing experience combined in addition to numerous awards and recognitions our artists have received from countless competitions and conventions. In fact, some of our artists are industry veterans and have become instrumental in making tattooing an accepted form of art in the country.

At P&P tattoo, we have a deep understanding of body art. Aside from extensive research and numerous years’ worth of practical experience, we also try our best to remain knowledgeable whether you’re looking to get a traditional tattoo or new trends in designs.

  • Step 1

    Consultation

Before your tattoo session, we give time for consultation. Some clients choose to do this online, but you’re also free to drop by the shop anytime to speak with one of our artists. You can simply give us an idea of what you want and we can come up with a unique design from scratch. You can also show us an existing design you have in mind and we’ll do our best to make it your own.

  • Step 2

    Delivery

We also let our clients know whether a particular design will be good for them. While others would say yes to anything to keep the business running, we make it a point to give the proper explanation why some designs aren’t recommended. After all, your satisfaction is as good as ours. We know that your tattoo will remain on your skin for a lifetime so it better be the best it can be.

  • Step 3

    Assurance

Aside from making sure that our artists are the most talented and highly skilled in the business, we also ensure that health and safety are prioritized. We keep the shop clean at all times. We use the highest quality inks, brand new and sterilized needles, and top of the line tattoo machines.

  • Step 4

    Aftercare

After your ink is done, we will give you instructions about aftercare. As soon as you leave the shop, it is your responsibility to take care of your new tattoo especially while it is still in the healing process. As our valued client, you can always give us a call if you have further questions about tattoo aftercare.

How to choose a tattoo

1.

Avoid making any rash decisions.

If you’re getting a tattoo because you’re drunk or high, rebellious or your friends are goading you, then you’re getting a tattoo for all the wrong reasons and the choice you make is likely to reflect this lack of forethought.

2.

Consider where you want the tattoo.

This will have some influence on the design, especially if it’s an intimate design. For any parts of your body that you show regularly (and that is a lot of body if you’re a bikini or board shorts wearer), then that doesn’t leave much space for intimate tattoos that you don’t want your grandmother seeing.

3.

Spend some time refining the design and choosing one that has meaning for you.

Do some research first. Head over to the library or visit a P&P branch near you and look through our tattoo design books.

4.

Try a rehearsal run of the tattoo.

Use henna to get a temporary version of the design. You won’t be able to see different colors, or certain looks, but you will be able to judge the feeling of a tattoo. Henna lasts a week to a month.

5.

Think before you ink.

Think about it a lot. When you are certain, wait some more just to make sure. Ultimately, a well chosen tattoo design can be a thing of beauty and a confidence enhancement. A poorly chosen one done on a whim can leave you unhappy for all time.
